Turkey’s Competition Board had opened an investigation into 19 of the country’s largest auto companies, including foreign firms, for alleged price-fixing since 2006, it said on Wednesday.
The board said the companies had been sharing targets, stock information and sales and pricing strategies, Reuters reported.
The board is eyeing automakers including Daihatsu Turkey, Dogus Otomotiv, General Motors Turkey, Honda Turkey, Hyundai Assan, Tofas, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Peugeot and Toyota.
